Railway. Modern Traction. A selection of 35mm colour negatives by the late Steve Davies. There are approx. 690 mostly cut into strips of 4 and stored in protective negative sheets, with captions written on. Featuring modern traction, traction nameplates, some preserved steam and diesels plus stations and infrastructure mainly in the South Wales area in the late 1990's. Locations include: Cardiff Canton, Rhoose Station being rebuilt, Aberthaw Dock, Severn Tunnel Jnt., Machynlleth, Margam depot, Bridgend, Milford Haven, St Mellons, Old Oak Common Open Day, Polmadie and Carlisle. There are some repeat shots of the same locomotive and some non-railway mixed in (these have not been counted).
