Railway. Overseas Traction - EAST GERMANY DDR. A good selection of working steam (most) with some UK modern traction, taken in East Germany in 1981 and 1982. There are approx. 210 x 35mm colour negatives, with associated colour 5.5" x 3.5" prints. The negatives have taken on a blue hue, the colour temperature of the negatives could be easily adjusted in your scanning software or similar photo application for a more neutral colour tone. We have shown the negatives with "auto colour correct" to show what can be done. These are whole films and there are a few non-railway subjects included. The count above does not include these. Captions are on the film packets and includes visits to sheds, night time exposures and lineside photographs. Locations noted: Pasewalk, Meiningen, Prenzlau, Zerrenthin, Saalfeld, Uhlstadt, Meitzendorf, Magdeburg, Locknitz, Kerkow, Borkenfriede and others. No captions except those on the packet.
