An Elizabethan and later oak refectory table of exceptional colour and patina, the planked top with relief carved frieze under depicting scrolled acanthus leaves, on carved cup and cover supports terminating on block feet united by stretchers. c1600.
Condition report: Wear consistent with age and deep overall patina. Feet have had 20mm blocks added.
