Antique late-19th Century Burmese (Myanmar) solid 'white metal' thabeik repousse' bowl, very well made and heavy gauge, decorated in high relief with six different scenes from the Burmese mythology, representing various figures in a landscape, The base engraved with a peacock mark, there are number of different variations of the peacock signature, all of whom are are indirectly claiming past royal patronage by using this mark.
