Large 19th century Chinese famille rose fish bowl, the bombe form 18th century style fish bowl, enamelled with pairs of birds amongst foliage , between stylised scrolling bands and foliate borders, the flat rim embellished with floral decoration, the body flanked with two large beast masks, the interior decorated with swimming carp, 52cm diameter, 42cm high.
Excellent condition, handful of firing marks
