1920 Trump Peco, 330cc. Registration number OB 7276. Frame number 107. Engine number 420616.

Trump was founded by Frank McNab and Angus Maitland who used mostly JAP V-twins prior to WWI, along with other propriety smaller capacity engines between 1906 and 1923. They were regularly seen at Brooklands in the late Edwardian era.
Peco motorcycles were produced from about 1914 until probably 1921 and these were supplied to numerous British motorcycle manufacturers of the period that did not survive very long.
This machine comes with a R.F.60 buff log book stating it related to a Lombard 330cc machine and was still this in 1963 (tax disc present), there is also a test certificate from 1962 stating it to be of 1916 manufacture. Our vendor bought it in 1961 and at some point before 1972 it had become a Trump Peco, there are many MOT's from this period onwards.
Fully restored during his ownership we suggest that prospective purchases satisfy themselves as the the origins of this rare machine.
Sold with the V5C, V5, R.F. 60, old tax discs and a receipt for a magneto rebuild in 1989.
