Evelyn Gibbs (1905-1991), oil on canvas, 'Ladies Mending Nets', c1958. Gibbs was a key member of the Midland Group and labels to the reverse suggest this work was part of the W.I.A.C. (Women's International Art Club) Touring Exhibition c1958. Work unsigned but Gibbs' name and address written in pencil to reverse of frame. W 46cm, H 61cm. Grey painted frame 62cm x 77cm.
