Medals (3) of 12968 Private David Edwards of the Devonshire Regiment. 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, 1914-1920, and Allied Victory Medal 1914-1918. Enlisted on 9th September 1914 into 3rd Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. Transferred to 1st/4th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment (TF). Landed in France on 11th January 1915 until medically evacuated on 23rd April 1915 with a gunshot wound to the head. Recovered and returned to France on 31st December 1915 with 1st Battalion, Devonshire Regiment until wounded again on 18th May 1916, medically evacuated and discharged.
