Twenty-one black-and-white photographs, 20cm x 15cm, issued by BIPPA, Associated Press, and other related agencies, with printed captions on the verso; together with fifteen further photographs of Japanese civilians after the surrender, circa 1945-46 Subjects include: • Desert Rats enter Berlin. • Lt-General W.D. Morgan signing a German surrender agreement in Italy. • A Meeting of the Inter-Allied Kommdanture to rule Berlin. • Marshal Zhukov accompanied by Field Marshal Montgomery inspecting the Guard of Honour of the Grenadier Guards • Zhukov signing the Berlin Pact • General Eisenhower signing the Pact. • Allied representative accepting the unconditional surrender document in Italy • Japanese surrender envoys at Rangoon - Lt.
