McGrigor is registered in The Dictionary of British Artists 1880 - 1940, she had one work titled 'The Mischievous Model' in the 1903 Royal Academy.
This oil appears to be in good unrestored condition, however, there is an ancient patch on the back with no corresponding retouching on the front under UV light. The canvas is cockled
