Group of two (2) 1797-dated King George III copper 'Cartwheel' Twopence coins struck at the Soho Mint (S 3776). Obverses: small laureate draped bust of George III, the legend on the rim reads 'GEORGIUS III · D: G: G · REX.'. Reverses: seated Britannia holding a trident and an olive branch with a shield to side, a masted ship in the distance, 'BRITANNIA' above with '1797' below. Both obverse and reverse are attributed to Conrad Heinrich Küchler. Composition: copper. Weights: 56.06g/58.35g. Diameters: 41mm.
