An early 20th Century oval dish in the manner of Sevres, decorated with a hand painted cherub holding aloft a blue ribbon, the border in turquoise blue with shell shaped cartouche each with hand painted flowers, bears spurious Sevres mark, length 18.5cm.
There is rubbing to the gilding, especially the rim edge. Kiln dust pick-up to the foot rim and some speckling to the blue. Somewhat dusty / grubby.
