A group of WWII medals awarded to Leading Seaman Earnest Dalby including 1939-1945 Star, Atlantic Star, Burma and Africa Star (ribbons with rose), 1939-1945 War Medal, and The Cadet Forces Medal with appropriate ribbon clasp and ephemera and items relating to his time on HMS Renown, including photographs, one being of Churchill on Renown, others of cartoons of the officers drawn by one of the seamen, HMS Renown Football team, and a postcard of the sick bay, Christmas Menu for 1941, book of hand written diary entries covering 1942 and 1943, hat ribbon, ashtray and Certificate of Service.
