Of red enamel over white metal, with the Bremen arms centrally, housed in its original fitted case, the white silk lid lining embossed in gilt "Otto Hartmann 28. Februar 1917"

Hauptmann Otto Hartmann (7th February 1889 - 3rd September 1917), German Flying Ace who took command of Jagstaffel 28 three months prior to his death, in action, over the English Channel.
