LAUSINA: A RARE GERMAN SILVER MILITARY WRISTWATCH with manual wind movement, the black dial with subsidiary seconds dial, silver Arabic numerals and silver hands, on a black leather strap, engraved to the case back "General Herman Breith, no. 12212", circa 1940's, the case c.38mm diam.

The watch was specially made for General Hermann Breith, Commander of a Tank Brigade and recipient of a Knights Cross. It is illustrated in the book "Military Timepieces" by Konrad Knirim, page 177.

Provenance: From a private Hampshire collection.
