18th century English porcelain sauce tureen and cover with gilt handles, possibly by Worcester, hand painted with birds and butterflies within gilt borders onto a cobalt blue ground, 14cm high x 16cm wide
The tureen is in generally good condition, no visible chips or cracks. The lid has a small 0.5cm wide chip to the underside of the rim. The knop has a 1cm wide chip which has been painted. The tureen and lid both have some general wear to the gilding commensurate with age as per the online images.
