A ruby and diamond dress ring, containing an oval faceted ruby in dark purplish-red colour, approximately measuring 9.4 x 6.6 x 3.0 mm, in a collet setting encircled by frames of brilliant-cut diamonds, to tapering D-section shank, two-toned metal marked '585 14K', ring size N, total weight of item 10.4 grams.
Each diamond approximately measures 1.7 mm across, with an estimated total weight of 0.90ct. Ruby was assessed as natural.
