1796 Pattern light cavalry trooper's sabre and scabbard by Gill, blade marked crown/1, back of blade marked GILL and crown/1, blade with a couple of minor indentations, 2 ring scabbard engraved WC/61 near throat (possibly Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry?), some minor bruising to scabbard, generally very fine.
