1911 LION AND PALM TREE ESSAY - RARE REPRINTS; 1/2a pale green, photogravure impressions on sunken card (173 x 125mm) taken from the lion and palm tree 1/2a copper plate with two vertical strips of three comprising Die 1 on left and Die 11 on right. Fine and scarce as only four impressions in this colour were taken prior to the plate being defaced. Spence 45 & 60.
