In the form of a bulbous jug, with stitched seams and simple C-handle, height 13cm Provenance: Handwritten label to the underside reads 'This belongs to D. Edmondson'. A collection of blackjacks belonging to H. H. Edmondson are illustrated O. Baker, 'Black Jacks & Leather Bottells', pl. 16. It is possible this lot is illustrated bottom right.
