ALLSOPPS PALE ALE FRAMED SHOWCARD. 13 x 16ins. Striking/ strong colours ALLSOPPS/ EAST INDIA/ PALE ALE showcard featuring large coat of arms to centre. Le Blond & Co London (maker) to bottom). Damage & general ageing/ wear but a most significant, very early showcard (possibly pre 1862 when the red hand trade mark was introduced?). Shown here minus its wooden frame.
