The Fiesta Mark II appeared in August 1983 with a revised front end and interior, and a bootlid mirroring the swage lines from the sides of the car. The 1.3L OHV engine was dropped, being replaced in 1984 by a CVH powerplant of similar capacity, itself superseded by the lean burn 1.4L two years later.
This rare automatic Fiesta car was bought in 1998 by the present owner, retired international opera singer Raimund Herincx, on 1/3/1998 from Fosseway Garage, Pylle, near Shepton Mallet, and has only covered several thousand miles since. It is totally original and has been garaged all that time. It has not been used for three years, but has been MOTd every year. The bodywork is in very good condition, except for a few minor rust spots and a few tiny dents on the rear tailgate. The engine runs very smoothly, the interior is faultless and the car drives well.
