A pair of 18th century Old English pattern silver berry spoons, one by Robert Perth, London (date letter worn), the other by Stephen Adams I, London (date letter worn) each with fruit embossed bowls and engraved foliate decoration to handle, with crest depicting a lion in coronet verso, each 20.4cm long, together with a further pair of berry spoons, one by Charles Hougham, London 1787, the other by 'IB', London 1802, each 22cm long, gross weight of group 7.73ozt (4)
Overall very good. Some denting to the embossed fruit. Heavy scratching, and heavy wear/loss to the gilt on all pieces. Some thinning and wear around the edges of the bowls. The Stephen Adams example has a very small split to the edge of the bowl. No signs of repair. Hallmarks to the two examples pictured furthest left and clear, hallmarks on the examples closest right are heavily worn.
