A Chinese pale celadon jade chicken group, 19th century, the hen and the cockerel both grasping a sprig of millet in their beaks, the stone with slight russet and grey inclusions including a russet skin to the recumbent hens left wing, 6.9cm high, wood stand, small faults
There are some small losses and probable re-carving to the cockerel?s left foot and between the hen?s beak and the millet. Natural inclusions in the stone, otherwise in good condition.
