Pair of Japanese Soho China satsuma vases, Taisho (1912-26), decorated with golden pheasant amidst bamboo and prunus in colours and gilt, height 24.5cm
The condition on both vases is very good. On one vase, however, there is some substance spotting around the base of the vase which can easily be removed with a fingernail; we don't quite know what it is but it can be removed without damaging the piece.
