These lectures are dedicated to Sir Charles Lemon Bart and the frontispiece is a plan of twenty illustrations showing cross sections, transverse sections, general view of the Carnon tin stream mine, Botallack etc... Lecture 1: On the study of geology and mineralogy as sources of interesting and valuable information. Lecture 2: Observations on certain tin stream works in the County of Cornwall. Lecture 3: On the metalliferous veins or lodes of Devon and Cornwall, and the methods of mining them. Lecture 4: on the manipulation of the ores of Devon and Cornwall to render them marketable. A good copy of very scarce work.
