Percussion shotgun approx 10 Bore, barrel 37" part octagonal part round. Lock in V.GWO & crisp on 1st & 2nd cock. Lock signed "Howe" and "Howe Colchester" to top barrel flat. Lovely Dolphin hammer, acanthus scrolling to hammer shank and lockplate. Brass tipped wooden ramrod, large heavy buttstock, half stocked in walnut with silver fore end cap. Chequered wrist. Circa 1828 (Richard Howe 16 and 150 High Street Colchester 1827-30). Real collectors piece
