(Autriche Transit) & "480" (Portuguese Acc. mark) in black, etc; 1829 EL from Bayonne to London with red double boxed "A" superimposed over "V" confirming 'Affranchissement Verifie' (franking checked), etc.;1824 EL from Frankfurt to Edinburgh endorsed "Schottland uber Calais" with red boxed "Allemagne/Par/Forbach" and Scots addl.
