Examples of mail to/from GB, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, etc. inc. 1833 EL from Vienna to Lisbon with boxed "WIEN/FRANCO", "AUTRICHE/PAR/HUNINGUE" & "7/A.E.D." marks in red, "A.T." (Autriche Transit) & "480" (Portuguese Acc. mark) in black, etc; 1829 EL from Bayonne to London with red double boxed "A" superimposed over "V" confirming 'Affranchissement Verifie' (franking checked), etc.;1824 EL from Frankfurt to Edinburgh endorsed "Schottland uber Calais" with red boxed "Allemagne/Par/Forbach" and Scots addl.
