AN OAK DRESSER/CUPBOARD in 16th century style, dentil moulded cornice above a frieze centred on a grotesque mask within ribbon tied foliate garland, flanked by a pair of relief carved monsters and masks, pair of vine clad 'trunk' pillars before a carved arcaded back with foliate corbels and central lion mask, the base fitted with three carved drawers above a central recess flanked by cupboards, figural carved within foliate borders and guilloche carved tapered pillars, bun feet, 144cm wide x 194cm high (17th century and later). See illustration

More Information

I think this is made from old timbers and panels with some later (19th century) carved elements and quite probably put together in the 19th century.
