1815 Waterloo Medal to John Vennor 11th Reg Light Dragoons, replacement clip and ring, light contact marks, very fine. With copied roll and musters, he enlisted 11/11/1807 in London District and discharged 23/11/17. The 11th took part in the withdrawl from Quatre Bras where they repeatedly saw off the French cavalry. At Waterloo, they helped relieve the Union Brigade after their charge and later broke a French infantry square. (See photo) (R)
