CHINESE SOAPSTONE BRUSH WASHER. Possibly Ming dynasty, of shallow circular form with a raised rim and incised character marks around the top of the brush washer. With an old hand written shop label inside, 10.5cms diameter, 3.5cms high. *CR There is a chip to the shoulder, there is a small gouge to the top with a firing crack running from it which runs along the side of the body (possibly from manufacture), and some other surface cracks in places, small chip to the base.
