19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY LINEN PRESS WITH BRASS LINE INLAY, ROSEWOOD CROSSBANDING & 2 PANEL DOORS OPENING TO FITTED INTERIOR WITH 2 DRAWERS OVER 2 PANEL DOORS BELOW ON PLINTH BASE - 206 CM TALL
Has age related marks, scratches, wear, dents, small splits and fading overall. Large split on cornice. Warping to panel doors. Warped/ damaged/ missing sections of brass inlay. Crazed/ damaged/ missing sections of wood inlay. No drawers to interior, a later clothes rail has been added. Splits to some drawer bases. Sticky marks from drawer liners. Signs of past woodworm to back. No key present. The top and the base are mis-matched and likely put together at a later date.
