Woolner (Thomas, 1825-1892). An original three-sided manuscript letter, signed by Thomas Woolner, dated 17th January 1875, letter excerpt "I am sure Tennyson would be pleased with a Burns - better you send it direct..., and if you feel any shyness mention me and say I asked you to send it", 11cm x 18cm approx., letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes (with printed transcript). Woolner was a sculptor, poet and founder member of the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood.
