Money Letters. 1836 Entire letter from the Duke of Marlborough to London endorsed "Cash", and 1839 (Dec 16) envelope from Ormskirk to London endorsed "Money Letter", both with Free datestamps. Two unusual free Money Letters, the second sent during the Uniform 4d Post Period just 24 days before free franking and the Money Letter system were both abolished. (2).
