With pierced designs to uprights and headrest. In beautiful condition throughout. The seats have been reupholstered. Dimensions: 60in high approx. More about the Maker: Charles Rennie Mackintosh is best known for his architectural works, including the Glasgow School of Art, he also designed much of their decor and furnishings. Commissioned to furnish the Cranston's Argyle Street Tea Rooms, this chair, designed for the white dining room, is an excellent example of his work.
