A 19th Century late Regency period mahogany tea caddy of sarcophagus form, raised to bun feet, fitted with twin rosewood cross-banded cannisters and with a glass mixing bowl (damaged), height 18cm, width 30cm and depth 16cm, some damages and losses.
There are some splits and cracks to the veneers of the outside of the caddy and also some small sections of veneer loss. Evidence of some old repairs to the veneer in places. There is no key. The cannisters are in good condition, but the mixing bowl is very badly damaged, having been broken and staple repaired at some point.
