A Belgian 6 shot 7mm Loron double action pinfire revolver, c 1862, sighted octagonal barrel 94mm, the breech stamped “LORON BREVETE”, Liege proved, a lever beneath the barrel swings backwards to release the barrel, allowing it and the cylinder to slide forwards on the cylinder pin for loading, with folding trigger and rounded butt with chequered walnut grips.
