Clarice Cliff - Sunray - A Stamford shape teapot circa 1930, hand painted with an abstract cityscape with rising sun and birds in flight, large Fantasque mark and Lawleys gold backstamp, height 12cm, slight damage.
There is a small perfectly circular air bubble burst on the edge of the rim by the cover, this appears to have occurred in production, there is a tight hairline to the underside of the base by the handle which runs up in to the body.
