A worksplate HUDSWELL CLARKE, 1523 of 1925. From a standard gauge 0-6-0T new to Mitchell Brothers, Sons & Co Ltd, Tickhill, Yorkshire. Later with Earl Fitzwilliam's Collieries Ltd, New Stubbin Colliery, Rawmarsh, Yorkshire as No 12. Passed to the NCB with the colliery in 1947 and renumbered 34. Transferred to Elsecar Colliery mid-1968 and scrapped there about April 1970. Engraved brass, 12¾"x8¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: C)
