AN ANTIQUE CARVED GIT WOOD CONVEX WALL MIRROR, with large carved eagle mount with its wings out-spread, the eagle is flanked by carved scrolling foliage detail on each side, the circular convex mirror has a typical ebonised reeded slip and a row of balls surrounding it, the base with a layered carved sunburst design. Condition: The mirror and frame are in over all very good condition; there is some loss to the gilding/gesso in parts; commensurate with age and use. Some restoration would bring this piece back to its best very easily. Dimensions: 37” inches x 24” inches (H x W).
