A large and impressive carved wood Black Forest clock, the circular dial with enamelled numerals and simple bell-striking drum movement, beneath a well-carved figure of a hunter, with rifle and ice-pick carrying a chamois, the rifle sling signed J Huggler, supported on a naturalistic base carved with game birds, a squirrel and a hare, among branches and leaves, 95cm high, 67cm wide.
