A pair of late 19th century Chinese blue and white Nanjing export baluster vases, Qing dynasty, painted in underglaze blue with Buddhistic guardian lions and stylised clouds on cream crackled ground between decorative foliate iron-dust brown banding (imitating bronze) around the shoulder and foot, each base with illegible (possibly Chenhua) four-character mark, 22 cm high to/w a 19th century Chinese blue and white vase painted in bright tones of underglaze blue with two figures beside an oversized floral decorated lidded vase surrounded by trailing foliage, birds and flowers, the base with four-character Kangxi mark, 18.5 cm high (3)
