An Indian sword tulwar. Second half of the 19th century, probably Sialkot, curved SE blade 83cms, with traces of gold damascened inscription and cartouche, iron hilt with conventional tulwar quillons and curved ‘shamshir’ pommel covered with gold damascened flowering foliage. GC £150-300
