AN IMPERIAL GERMAN M1884/98 BAYONET BY COPPEL, WITH REGIMENTAL MARKINGS. With a 25cm pointed, single edged blade with fuller, marked to the ricasso for Alex Coppel of Solingen. The back of the blade marked 'with a Crown and W 87. The crosspiece marked 29.R. 422, with a two part wooden grip. With black leather scabbard with steel mounts marked 30 RE 1232 and 9. R 9. 163. 42 cm overall.
Blade sharpened and with some scratching, wear throughout. Bayonet button functions well.
