A Rare Black-glazed Baluster Vase, Sui dynasty the well potted vase rising from a solid splayed foot to an ovoid body that tapers to the neck, below a cup shaped mouth with everted rim, with four bands around the shoulder and body, covered overall with a fine matte black glaze that falls short of the foot to reveal the mushroom-tone pottery body.
