A Japanese Imari porcelain decagonal dish, late Meiji period. Painted with alternating panels of stylised waves, diaper, chrysanthemum and palmettes the central plateau with paulownia leaves in ruyi panels. Decorated on the reverse with vines and "running dog" foot and signs of stilt marks. 33.4 cm diameter
