John Edward Thompson 'Jackie' Milburn (11 May 1924 - 9 October 1988) was a football player who primarily played for Newcastle United and England, however also spent four season with Linfield. By the time Milburn left Newcastle in 1957, he had become the highest goal scorer in Newcastle United's history.
