1799 General post/Window letter. Wonderful cover addressed to Westminster bearing a ‘W’ Window handstamp in red with a black London Dispatch cds for JU.4.1799 and a red experimental single ring (4.5mm, type 11a) datestamp used on the first date of issue JU.5.1799, this cds was only in use for eleven days from JU.5-15.1799. charged 2d as indicated in manuscript. Very rare and unusual.
