German Third Reich. 1st class Cross of Honour of the German Mother in case of issue. A fine gilt example with blue and white enamelled arms and central black enamel swastika complete with length of neck ribbon. Reverse with facsimile Adolf Hitler signature. Housed in original dark blue fitted case, the lid embossed with facsimile of the award and lined with simulated cream silk bearing A. Rettenmaier, Schw. Gmund details; the base in cream flock. VGC Instituted by Adolf Hitler on 16th December 1938; 1st Class awarded for bearing 8 or more children for the Fatherland.
